Fidalab is pleased to be an attending sponsor at the Oral Cancer Foundation Walk for Awareness at Juanita Beach Park in Kirkland, WA. The Oral Cancer Foundation is a national public service, non-profit entity designed to reduce suffering and save lives through prevention, education, research, advocacy, and patient support activities. Oral cancer is the largest group of those cancers which fall into the head and neck cancer category and approximately 48,250 people in the US will be newly diagnosed with oral cancer in 2016.

The Oral Cancer Foundation Walk for Awareness of Kirkland, Washington will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2016, 8am-5pm.

As a supporting sponsor, we’ll be sharing information and previewing our Oral Rinse collection kit, a non-invasive molecular oral HPV test that is an ideal supplement to oral screening for HPV in the mouth. Our test assay processed by a CLIA certified laboratory offers more sensitivity and specificity of the oral sample collected, for better overall accuracy. The Oral Rinse collection kit can easily be administered by healthcare professionals.
