Fidalab/ Briway Seattle is a privately owned CLIA-certified clinical diagnostic company in Seattle, WA, specializing in infectious disease testing using cutting-edge molecular technologies. The name “Fida” comes from latin meaning faithful, loyal. and trusting. We focus on providing highly sensitive and accurate PCR lab tests with same day or next day results for healthcare providers, long-term care facilities, and more. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we have processed over half a million COVID-19 PCR tests to help keep our communities open and safe.

ABOUT OUR SERVICES

COVID -19 Testing:

FidaLab now offers testing for Covid-19. We provide accurate results that are given the next business day, a courier service to Seattle area clients, and FidaLab sales reps who will work closely with you to ensure proper implementation.

Medical Field:

We offer comprehensive diagnostic services towards women’s health, including Pathology, HPV testing, and genotyping, molecular STI screening, vaginosis panel, and urinary tract infection detection.

Dental Field:

We offer an oral HPV test, which is employed to augment current annual visual oral cancer screening. Our cariogenic bacteria test identifies individuals who are at increased risk of developing dental cavities. Our periodontal bacteria test not only assists clinical management of periodontal disease, but also accesses individual’s risk of systemic diseases.

Qinghua Feng, PhD

Chief Scientific Officer/ Co-Founder

Dr. Qinghua (Quinne) Feng received her PhD in Molecular Biology/ Genetics from The John Hopkins University School of Medicine and did her Postdoctoral Fellow at Whitehead Institute/MIT. She worked at the University of Washington for 15 years as a research scientist and faculty member in the Department of Pathology. Dr. Feng has more than 90 peer-reviewed scientific publications and 5 book chapters, and received research funding from the National Institute of Health. She is one of the co-founders at Fidalab/ Briway Seattle and developed an accurate and sensitive screening assay for oral HPV 16 and 18 as well as a periodontal pathogen test. Dr. Feng remains a dedicated research scientist and is passionate about science and how it can improve life and health.
